I'm very pleased to announce that the Royal Opera House will be hosting a Benesh Notation Insight evening on Friday the 24th of November 2017 at 7.45pm.
The complete in house team of Royal Ballet Benesh Notators will be present: Senior Benesh Notator and Head of the Benesh Institute Anna Trévien as well as full time Benesh Notators Grégory Mislin & Lorraine Gregory. This is a wonderful opportunity to find out why The Royal Ballet uses Benesh Movement Notation and how Notators are involved during creations and re-staging of choreographic works.
You will also have to chance to see Royal Ballet dancers being taught an extract of repertoire from a Benesh notation score.
Warning! These events tend to sell out fast as the the number of seats are limited in the Clore Studio. Booking will be open to friends of The ROH from early September and to the general audience from mid- October. So please set your reminders in your calendars accordingly to avoid disappointment.
This is an exciting event not to be missed!
